Woodwaste

This section was updated - 16 April 2021

The use of woodwaste as described by the “Code of Agricultural Practice for Waste Management” is allowed on on-farm access ways and for berms in cranberry production. Water containing leachate from woodwaste should be impounded until after harvest and released slowly. Large-scale uses of woodwaste may require growers to contact the BC Environment. Refer to the BCAGRI Factsheet “Guidelines for Farm Practices Involving Fill”.
