Farm Credit Canada (FCC) is marking one year on Twitter by thanking more than 3,100 followers for choosing to be part of the FCC Twitter community. FCC first tweeted on May 22, 2012. FCC’s Twitter handle is @FCCagriculture.
FCC Twitter tips:
• Include a bio in your Twitter profile so people know who you are and what you do.
• Find accounts to follow by clicking “Discover” and choosing “Who to follow”. Or check who others follow.
• Add hashtags to your tweets when you attend an event or join a conversation. Many agriculture trade shows encourage the use of a specific hashtag by all attendees.
• Share interesting content with your followers by retweeting or by using the “share” button that appears on many websites.
• Be visual – share images or video whenever possible to get more clicks, retweets and comments.
