BC Association of Farmers' Markets
The Farmers' Markets Association of BC (BCAFM) wanted to refresh their website while offering a way to help promote their members. As the organization representing farmers' markets of BC they chose to work with AgriFoodBC and reuse the Market Exchange Tools to integrate a visual map while promoting local vendors throughout the province.

Challenge
BCAFM consists of member markets and vendors. In addition to promoting the member markets and vendors to help consumers find them, BCFAM needed to refresh their outdated site with a new look. Key content of the site was scattered in different places. The content needed to be reorganized with a better system allowing for easy navigation by viewers and easy management by administrators of the site.Solution
Using the Market Exchange Tool, member markets and vendors are now able to promote themselves easily. Consumers can search for members using an easy to understand interface. With AgrifoodBC’s content management and templating system a new site architecture was developed to organize information more efficiently.
